Service Projects

Troop 28’s recent service projects include:

• cleaning litter from the Skokie Lagoons and the Forest Preserve bike path
• clearing property for the Glencoe Historical Society
• building a boardwalk in the boathouse area of the Lake Michigan beachfront
• clearing brush from the nature preserve adjacent to South School
• painting a “State of Illinois" mural for students at West School
• collecting used sports equipment for donation to center-city schools in Chicago
• constructing storage lockers in and painting the basement of St. Elisabeth’s Church.
